The Learning and Development Specialist supports the design, development, and delivery of high-quality learning programs aligned with organizational mission and strategic objectives. The role contributes to the creation of structured training programs, workshops, and educational curricula that integrate research, dialogue, and practical experience to promote coexistence, intercultural understanding, and peacebuilding. The Specialist ensures academic rigor, innovation, and measurable impact across all learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Program Design & Development

Support the design and delivery of learning and development programs aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.

Develop training modules, workshops, and structured educational curricula for diverse audiences (e.g., diplomats, educators, faith leaders, and community representatives).

Translate research findings and dialogue insights into engaging and practical learning content.

Ensure academic and professional quality standards are embedded in all learning materials.
Curriculum & Content Development

Contribute to the development of toolkits, facilitator guides, and learning resources.

Integrate research, dialogue outcomes, and practical case studies into program content.

Update and enhance learning materials based on emerging global themes and organizational priorities.

Support the digitalization of learning content where applicable.
Program Delivery & Facilitation

Deliver workshops, training sessions, and structured learning engagements when required.

Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external facilitators to ensure seamless program execution.

Provide logistical and academic support during program implementation.
Learning Needs Analysis & Strategic Alignment

Identify learning priorities based on strategic themes, global needs, and stakeholder feedback.

Conduct learning needs assessments to inform program development.

Ensure alignment between program outcomes and strategic objectives.
Partnerships & Collaboration

Support collaboration with universities, think tanks, cultural institutions, and academic partners.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure integrated program delivery.

Contribute to joint initiatives and partnership-based learning programs.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Monitor learning outcomes and participant engagement metrics.

Collect and analyze feedback to assess program effectiveness.

Prepare reports on program performance and recommend improvements.

Use data and insights to continuously innovate and refine learning offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Religious Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in learning and development, curriculum design, academic programming, or training delivery.

Experience working in multicultural, international, or cross-cultural environments is preferred.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
