The Learning and Organizational Development Associate is responsible for building employee performance and capabilities through formal and informal professional development to support the mission of Ephrata National Bank. They will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Learning and Organizational Development segment including facilitation, planning, creating, scheduling, and LMS (Learning Management System) support.

Learning Program Coordination & Facilitation

Manage on-site and virtual learning events including sending email invitations, scheduling catering, material distribution, room set-up, and facilities coordination such as office access as needed.

Manage and inform employees and supervisors of scheduled learning sessions, track and report on learning progress/outcomes/attendance within the LMS.

Develop, communicate, and monitor the quarterly learning calendar by identifying and researching internal and external learning needs for new and existing employees.

Maintain documentation of completion of initial and recurring training in each employee’s file with the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Manage distribution and collection of post-workshop learning feedback.

Facilitate learning workshops and programs of high-quality using industry practices for learner engagement and retention.

Assess and communicate any participants' learning challenges to department leadership to provide feedback to the hiring manager and determine the appropriate approach as necessary.

Provide detailed feedback both during and post-session to managers regarding participants’ progress in sessions. Make appropriate recommendations for employees’ success in their jobs.

Responsible for training materials coordination and preparation ensuring materials are current and relevant.

Utilizes teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.

Create new learning materials such as job aids, slide decks, eLearning content, and other projects as assigned using learning design and adult learning principles.

Enhance the learning culture across all business lines through trusted partnerships

Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.

Apply new strategies, policies, processes, initiatives, tools, and systems to drive talent development, culture, and organization development initiatives across the organization.

Make and implement recommendations to improve learning content, training, and learning experiences for purposes of broad upskilling and continuous improvement.

Other responsibilities include:

Manage the learning intranet page to serve as a knowledge management center in collaboration with other learning systems.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all learning needs.

Develops and maintains annual audit of learning materials to ensure accuracy and works with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the learning and organizational development team to review findings and offer suggestions for updates and changes to maintain learning content accuracy.

Works collaboratively with the L&OD Program Manager and Officer on the learning & organizational development budget.

Maintains inventory and orders supplies for learning and organizational department.

Remain adaptable to policy, procedure, and overall company changes and environment.

Serve as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) mentor as necessary for new-hire employees.

Serves as a leader in training, projects, and change initiatives.

Assume responsibility for executing projects and objectives as assigned or identified.

2-4 years of relevant experience required.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven ability to facilitate engaging, learner-centered training sessions for diverse audiences.

Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to design and develop curriculum using instructional theory and adult learning principles.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify learning gaps and propose effective solutions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in retail banking or financial services, including consumer lending.
-
3+ years of experience facilitating technical or professional development training.
-
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and SCORM-compliant content development tools.

This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mice, keyboards, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines.
