Learning Center Manager (Operations & Sales)

Best Brains Learning Center is a growing after-school enrichment program focused on helping students excel in Math, English, Coding, and other academic subjects. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Learning Center Manager to oversee daily center operations while helping grow student enrollment.

This role combines operational leadership with business growth and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, coordinating people and schedules, and contributing directly to the success of a growing educational business.

This role is vital in driving operational excellence and expanding our learning services through innovative sales strategies, and exceptional leadership.

Position Overview

The Learning Center Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the learning center while also driving student enrollment through community outreach, marketing, and parent engagement.

The compensation structure includes a fixed salary for operational responsibilities plus commission opportunities tied to student enrollments.

Minimum 1 year commitment needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Center Operations (Core Responsibilities)

  • Manage daily center operations to ensure classes run smoothly and on schedule
  • Coordinate student and teacher schedules
  • Monitor center cell phone for messages from parents and teachers
  • Prepare classrooms and instructional materials before classes
  • Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies
  • Ensure the center is clean, organized, and welcoming for students and families
  • Monitor attendance and communicate with parents regarding scheduling needs
  • Support teachers and resolve operational issues as they arise
  • Maintain student records and administrative documentation
  • Open and close the center
  • Ensure parents are getting feedback about their child's progress
  • Give daily updates regarding class
  • Keep everyone accountable and ensure students are getting the best experience
  • Take ownership and raise issues and find solutions

- Sales/ Enrollment Growth

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families
  • Conduct parent consultations and explain program offerings
  • Monitor center cell phone for new leads and respond within 4-8 hours
  • Convert inquiries into student enrollments
  • Follow up with leads through phone, email, and text
  • Coordinate student onboarding and orientation
  • Build relationships within the local community to increase awareness
  • Manage and grow the center's social media presence. Post reels and posts
  • Help develop and execute local marketing initiatives
  • Attend community events, school events, and networking opportunities when appropriate
  • Track enrollment performance and maintain a pipeline of prospective families

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and customer-service-oriented demeanor
  • Comfortable speaking with parents and prospective families
  • Ability to manage schedules, logistics, and multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic administrative software

Preferred

  • Experience in education, tutoring, childcare, or learning centers
  • Experience in sales, enrollment, customer success, or business development
  • Social media marketing experience
  • Experience managing operations in a small business environment

Compensation

- Base Salary

$1300/ month for operational and administrative responsibilities.

- Enrollment Commission

In addition to the base salary, the manager will earn:

  • % of the monthly enrollment fee for each student they enroll
  • Uncapped earning potential based on enrollment growth

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Evening and weekend availability is required to support class schedules and enrollment activities
