Learning Design Specialist

Growmetix® is a coaching & learning solutions firm that helps small businesses grow.

We're looking for a part time (2 days per week) learning designer -- with dope MS PowerPoint skills -- to join us on a 6 month contract opportunity. This role is based in our South Charlotte office.

In this role, you willl work alongside our Curriculum Developer to turn learning content into polished, professional training materials. This is a great portfolio-building opportunity for someone with strong design and production skills.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Design and produce PowerPoint presentations, participant materials, and instructor guides
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of materials
• Apply graphic design and photo editing skills to create on-brand, visually engaging materials
• Manage your workload to meet consistent monthly delivery deadlines
• Attend team meetings, present your work, and incorporate feedback
• Interface with the client professionally as needed
• Track milestones and flag issues proactively

Qualifications:

• Some experience producing training or educational materials
• Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE
• Solid graphic design sensibility — layout, consistency, and visual professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, but also ask questions when guidance is needed

Tools & Software Proficiency:

• Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Outlook, Teams for collaboration
• Adobe Express and / or Adobe Photoshop

Work Style & Availability:

• In-person role at our South Charlotte office.
• Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Express: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft PowerPoint: 2 years (Required)
