Job Purpose:
Supports leasing operations by managing tenant inquiries, preparing lease documents, and coordinating property showings, ensuring a smooth leasing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists prospective tenants by answering inquiries, providing property information, and scheduling property viewings.
- Assists in the prepration of lease agreements and renewals, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assists in processing rental applications, which may include conducting background and credit checks on prospective tenants.
- Maintains and updates listings of available units, ensuring accurate and current information.
- Assists in collection and processing of rental payments, late fees, and security deposits, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Assists in conducting move-in and move-out inspections, documenting conditions and coordinating any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Organizes and files leasing documents and tenant records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in property management or a customer service role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong and effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Excellent computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word processing programs at a highly proficient level.
- Effective written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures
- Good time management skills
