Part-Time Leasing Agent (Up to 30 Hours) – Millcreek Station

We are looking for an outgoing, positive, and team-focused Leasing Agent to join our Millcreek Station community! This part-time role (up to 30 hours per week) is perfect for someone who loves building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping prospects find their perfect home. Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Greet and assist prospective residents with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Conduct property tours and highlight community features
  • Build rapport with prospects and maintain positive resident relationships
  • Process applications, prepare lease documents, and ensure accurate files
  • Support property marketing efforts & resident events
  • Collaborate with the onsite team to deliver an exceptional living experience
  • Screen and qualify prospective residents using the approved selection criteria while ensuring that they meet the designated LIHTC requirements.
  • Prepare leases and LIHTC paperwork for qualified prospective residents. Prepare resident files after move-in using the approved standards. Handle all lease renewals and recertification's for the LIHTC program in a complete and timely manner.
  • Schedule resident move-ins.
  • Maintain organization of all key and parking assignments for residents. Handle all resident questions, maintenance requests, payment of rent or any other requests on a daily basis.
  • Comply with all LIHTC, Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances. Complete all other projects or requests as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements: Experience/Training. Must have previous leasing or sales experience with excellent closing abilities. Previous Section 42 LIHTC experience helpful. We are willing to train the right person if they are out-going, a team player, dependable, and eager to learn.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Candidate shouldbe dependable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential, as is the ability to confidently close leasing opportunities. Comfort with computers and property management software is required, along with professional phone etiquette.

This role includes walking tours and occasional stairs (elevators available), light lifting up to 20 lbs, and routine office/property task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
