We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and bilingual Leasing Agent to join our team at a high-demand Class C apartment community. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle high resident traffic and turnover, and is comfortable balancing leasing, collections, marketing, and resident relations.
Responsibilities
- Lease apartments and maintain occupancy goals
- Conduct property tours and process rental applications
- Utilize AppFolio software for leasing, resident communication, and account management
- Contact prospects by phone, text, email, and social media to convert leads into move-ins
- Advertise available units and post content regularly on Facebook, Instagram, Craigslist, and other social media platforms
- Take move-in and move-out photos for unit documentation and property records
- Assist with rent collections and resident follow-ups
- Post notices and assist with delinquency management when needed
- Door knock for unpaid rent and communicate professionally with residents regarding balances
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and unit availability
- Schedule vendors and assist with make-ready coordination
- Maintain strong customer service while enforcing community policies
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage resident inquiries
- Support office operations and daily team assignments as needed
- Assist in maintaining curb appeal and overall property presentation
Qualifications
- Previous leasing or property management experience preferred
- Experience with AppFolio strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a high-turnover environment
- Experience with collections and resident follow-up preferred
- Social media marketing experience preferred
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask
- Professional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Reliable transportation required
