Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented, Leasing Agent/Assistant Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a top leasing agent as well as support the Community Manager in overseeing the daily operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service, managing resident relationships, and ensuring that the apartment community is well-maintained and compliant with legal and Fair Housing standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing property operations, including resident relations and lease administration.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents.
- Create unique posts on social media sites and craigslist to promote the property to prospective residents.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and file management using our proprietary property management software.
- Support the upselling of available units and amenities to potential residents
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Address tenant concerns promptly, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial operations.
Skills
- Strong leasing and communication skills to ensure occupancy goals are met monthly.
- Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite or Yardi is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with residents.
- Effective upselling techniques to promote available apartment homes.
- Polished phone etiquette for professional communication with residents, team members, owners, and vendors.
- Accurate data entry skills for maintaining up-to-date records.
- Experience in customer relationship management to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills for efficient file management and documentation.
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally, ensuring tenant concerns are addressed.
