Leasing and Recertification Specialist

Columbus Property Management (CPM), a member of Mission First Housing Group is seeking a Leasing and Recertification Specialist who is responsible for all phases of the resident annual recertification process.

Leasing and Recertification Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify (on a monthly basis) those residents who require recertification.
  • Notify residents of upcoming recertification and schedule an initial interview for the resident to complete any and all necessary third-party verification documentation.
  • Prepare third-party verification paperwork for execution by the resident.
  • Transmit and receive all required verification documents from third parties.
  • Prepare recertification forms reflecting the information verified by third-party documentation.
  • Schedule a final interview with residents in order to execute necessary recertification paperwork.
  • Notify residents of changes in rental amount and prepare necessary paperwork to ensure changes in rental amounts are inputted in the YARDI database.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Participate in additional and/or special projects as required by management.

Leasing and Recertification Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:

  • College degree and experience in property management or real estate sales or other applicable field.
  • LIHTC and AHM Certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in YARDI a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi-task in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $63,600.00 per year
