Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Leasing and Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our community, engaging with prospective residents, managing leasing processes, and fostering positive relationships with tenants. Your expertise in property leasing, sales strategies, and customer service will drive occupancy rates and enhance resident satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet prospective residents warmly and provide detailed information about available units and community amenities
• Conduct property tours, highlighting features that meet individual needs and upselling available options to maximize occupancy
• Manage leasing applications, verify applicant information, and process lease agreements accurately using Yardi or OneSite property management software
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal requirements such as Landlord-tenant law.
• Maintain organized records of leasing activities, contracts, and tenant files through efficient data entry and filing practices
• Address resident inquiries promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and conflict management skills
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and ensure a positive living experience for tenants

Experience

• Proven experience in property leasing, sales, and property management software are a must in a property management environment
• Proficiency in Rent Manager, or similar property management software systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, legal contracts, negotiation techniques, and conflict resolution strategies
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with residents and prospects
• Office experience involving data entry, filing, administrative support, and facilities management tasks
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
