Leasing Associate

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a customer-focused Leasing Associate to join our growing team based in Beverly Hills on an independent contractor basis. The ideal candidate will carry a passion for real estate and exhibit strong people skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently. This candidate must be trustworthy, communicative, and capable of self-managing their schedule.

DUTIES

- Maintain current fair housing certification

- Ensure all listings and leasing practices are aligned with fair housing regulations

- Receive new prospect inquiries and create guest cards in AppFolio

- Schedule and conduct property tours, then update guest cards with any important/relevant prospect information

- Send applications to prospects after their tours

- Assist with the preparation and execution of lease agreements

- Utilize all marketing channels to advertise vacancies, maintain listings and update as needed

EXPERIENCE

- Fair Housing Certification is required

- A minimum of one (1) year prior experience in multi-family leasing is preferred

- Knowledge of leasing laws, contracts, and property management procedures is preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

- The ability to negotiate and secure lease agreements with potential tenants

- Familiarity with marketing channels such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Zillow, Craigslist, and Apartments.com

COMPENSATION

This is a commission-based, independent contractor (1099) position. The posted $40,000-$60,000 per year range is an estimate of expected annual earnings based on leasing commissions, not a guaranteed base salary.

SCHEDULE

- Flexible schedule based on property tours

- Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed

This position is based in Beverly Hills, CA, and requires a valid Driver's License and Fair Housing Certification.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
