Leasing Consultant

We’re looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team! This role is responsible for managing all aspects of apartment leasing, including resident relations, lease administration, and maintaining occupancy goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for current and prospective residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Resident Relations:

Provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents, ensuring a positive leasing experience.

Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness when interacting with residents.

Assist with ongoing resident relations, facilitating resident events, and ensuring concerns and maintenance requests are handled promptly.

Leasing & Occupancy:

Generate and handle traffic through CRM, qualify prospective residents, conduct property tours, and close lease agreements.

Prepare and execute lease documentation, including move-in paperwork and lease renewals.

Conduct follow-ups via phone, email, or in person to convert inquiries into leases.

Maintain an organized leasing pipeline to meet and exceed occupancy goals.

Marketing & Competitive Analysis:

Stay informed on market trends and shop competitive properties regularly to assess pricing and amenities.

Ensure model apartments and tour routes are in pristine condition for prospective residents.

Assist with community marketing efforts to attract new residents and increase retention.

Administration & Compliance:

Maintain accurate traffic activity records and update leasing data in property management software.

Process renewal paperwork and ensure timely delivery of lease documentation to current residents.

Assist in preparing weekly leasing reports and ensure all leasing procedures comply with company policies.

Ensure resident files remain confidential, well-organized, and up to date.

Property Management Support:

Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure units are move-in ready.

Assist with processing work orders and ensure maintenance requests are handled promptly.

Support property management with clerical duties, including phone calls, filing, and processing invoices.

Assist with planning and implementing resident events and activities to foster community engagement.

Property Condition & Safety:

Perform regular inspections of the property to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.

Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team.

Ensure all open and close procedures are followed daily.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma required

Minimum of one year of prior sales or customer service experience preferred.

One year of previous leasing experience is preferred in residential property management.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents and prospects.

Experience with OneSiteor similar property management software preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the property management team.

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to handle resident concerns with professionalism.

Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key tracking systems).

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.

Must comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Required to complete and successfully pass the RYSE Management Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
