Leasing Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing operations of our residential units. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience and a strong understanding of property management and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for prospective tenants.

Duties

• Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including conducting property tours and processing applications.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain accurate records for all leasing activities.
• Maintain organized files related to contracts, tenant agreements, and property maintenance requests.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with potential tenants and addressing inquiries.
• Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet quality standards.
• Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including social media promotion and community outreach.
• Assist with other administrative and property status reporting tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in property management or leasing is preferred.
• Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties is a plus.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry and file management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with tenants and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of organization.
