Leasing Consultant

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours for prospective residents across multiple communities
• Communicate leasing terms, pricing, and policies while confidently closing sales
• Complete move-in appointments and apartment walk-throughs with new residents
• Assist relocating prospects, including those moving from out of state
• Collect and process move-in documentation, including legal paperwork, certified funds, and proof of insurance
• Maintain or exceed industry-standard closing ratios
• Represent Capital Property Management professionally at all times

Compensation

• $19–$22 per hour (DOE)
• Commission opportunities
• Gas mileage reimbursement

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of customer service experience required
• Prior leasing or property management experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a criminal background check following a conditional job offer
