Position Overview: As our Leasing Consultant, under the direction of the property management team, you will be responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective resident(s) and helping our residents feel at home during their time with us by answering questions, resolving issues, and enhancing their resident experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, file, tour and lease apartments
• Maintain positive resident relations/customer service
• Develop and copy office forms, letters, and notices as needed, and make move-in files
• Resolve minor concerns or issues (with help of manager if necessary)
• Process 30-day notices, rental applications, leases, and move-in files
• Write, process, and close work orders in Yardi after Property Manager review
• Update collections and court proceedings as needed; track, locate and work collection accounts
• Inspect apartments and properties regularly to ensure standards of cleanliness and repair are maintained
• Participate in marketing activities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience with customer service via phone, email, and in-person in retail, office, or other settings
• Teamwork, confidentiality, and time management skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn about our industry
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. without restrictions
• Frequently stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, walk distances and steps

Compensation: $17/hour plus Rental Bonuses

Schedule: fulltime, 40 hours per week, some Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
