Leasing Consultant

Legacy Residential, a leading multi-family property management company, is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for a residential community with 416 units in Coconut Creek, FL 33066. This is an essential role to the onsite team contributing in the leasing process, resident services and community development. The ideal candidate must have least 2 years of experience, have general computer skills, (Yardi knowledgeable is a plus) possess excellent communication and people skills, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on-site. Bilingual is a plus. The leasing consultant provides a high level of customer service and assists the property manager in efforts to help maximize occupancy. Some of the job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Understand the properties rental rates, special promotions and availability and be well informed of existing market conditions and competing rental properties
• Previous Lease Up experience preferred
• Lease vacant units by qualifying prospective residents in accordance with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines
• Oversee ongoing resident and lease related issues including coordinating with maintenance staff on work orders, move-in and move-out inspections
• Handle rental income and issue late fee/eviction notices as needed
• Inspect all pre-leased apartments prior to scheduled move-ins and show vacant apartments to prospective residents
• Record all traffic (ex. internet leads, walk-ins, or phone calls) and enter into Yardi (our accounting software) on a daily basis
• Outreach marketing to local businesses near the area
• Understands and uses internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, Instagram, e-mail, and other websites)

Preferred qualifications:

• Yardi experience
• CRM experience
• AA degree or equivalent education
• Formal industry training or certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
