Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Paraprofessional

Description:
The Instructional Assistant is responsible to assist the classroom teacher in providing instructional assistance, tutoring and small group work with students.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or successful completion of Parapro Assessment Test.
• Experience working with middle school age students.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others in a positive, productive way.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and the community while projecting a positive image that enhances the school.
• Ability to follow and interpret oral and written directions.
• Meet all state and federal requirements
