Overview

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.

You may know us as a company with great food. You may also know us from ‘Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For’ list. The Temporary Leave of Absence Administrator will be responsible for processing leave of absence for the company, which includes federal and state leave of absences.

Responsibilities

  • Process new leave of absence requests in our LOA Administration system
  • Determine leave eligibility based on documentation received and demographic information in the LOA administration system
  • Follow up on missing information
  • Send out required notifications to the employee and management team
  • Answer employee and restaurant manager questions regarding leave of absences
  • Respond to State Disability and STD/LTD claim inquiries and requests for information
  • Update LOA status in UKG


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA, CFRA, PDLL, ADA, etc. (including eligibility and entitlements)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to show compassion and provide excellent customer service
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
What we prefer:
  • Prior experience working with an LOA Administration system (AbsenceSoft preferred)
  • Prior HRIS experience (UKG Preferred)
  • Prior experience working with Accommodations under ADA and the interactive process
