Lecturer in Mathematics (M.Ed. / B.Ed. Programme)

Job Overview:

Labour India College of Teacher Education invites applications from qualified and passionate educators for the position of Mathematics Lecturer in the B.Ed. / M.Ed. programmes. The candidate will be responsible for teaching core and pedagogy courses in Mathematics, guiding research projects, and contributing to the academic and co-curricular development of prospective teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics and related pedagogy courses for B.Ed. and M.Ed. students.
• Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Guide students in academic research, dissertations, and teaching practice.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with NCTE and University guidelines.
• Participate in curriculum development, seminars, workshops, and faculty meetings.
• Contribute to the college’s academic growth through research, publications, and community outreach.
• Support institutional accreditation and quality assurance activities.
• Essential Qualification:
• M.Ed. with specialization in Mathematics Education from a recognized university (as per NCTE/UGC norms).
• Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks.
• Desirable Qualification:
• NET / SET / Ph.D. in Education or Mathematics.
• Teaching experience at the B.Ed. or M.Ed. level.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and academic research skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
