Job Summary
Seeking a Legal & Admin Manager with solid experience in civil litigation, corporate legal matters, labour law compliance, and essential administrative functions for a manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities
Legal:
· Manage civil, labour, and corporate legal cases; coordinate with external advocates.
· Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts.
· Ensure compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, ID Act, EPF, ESI, etc.).
· Handle statutory and regulatory compliance for the plant.
· Provide legal advice to management and support risk mitigation.
· Manage legal documentation, notices, and case records.
Admin:
· Oversee general administrative activities of the plant/office.
· Coordinate with vendors for facility management, housekeeping, security, and services.
· Support in managing licenses, renewals, and statutory documentation.
· Assist HR in disciplinary processes, notices, and employee documentation.
· Maintain MIS reports, filing systems, and compliance records.
Requirements
· LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. preferred.
· 6–8 years of legal experience, ideally in manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of civil, corporate, and labour laws.
· Good drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to handle admin tasks with attention to detail.
