Our law firm focuses on the defense of medical providers and facilities. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn and perform various administrative duties within the firm, including, but not limited to, the following:
· Scheduling/calendaring client meetings, court appearances, and case deadlines
· Managing records requests to outside facilities
· Organizing and processing medical records for review
· Process incoming/outgoing mail and case filings
· Proofreading, revising, and forming legal pleadings
· Filing electronic pleadings on Courtnet
· Answering incoming phone calls
· Assisting with written discovery document production
The days and hours to be worked are negotiable. We are prioritizing full-time applicants but are open to part-time applicants as well. Typical office hours are 8:30a - 5p, but some scheduling flexibility is available depending on candidate preferences and needs.
This position will be paid at an hourly rate commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees (including medical, dental, and vision coverage and a retirement plan with employer matching).
