About The Opportunity
The Legal Adviser at Asia Plastic will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance to safeguard the company’s interests, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support the business in achieving its objectives. This role requires strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, and industrial laws relevant to the plastics and manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
Role & Responsibilities

Corporate & Commercial Law
-
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs with suppliers, clients, and partners.

Provide legal advice on business transactions, joint ventures, and investment opportunities.

Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance

Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and government policies affecting the plastics and manufacturing industry.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, chambers of commerce, and legal authorities on behalf of the company.

Ensure timely submission of legal filings, licenses, and company registrations.
Dispute Resolution

Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution cases.

Coordinate with external law firms when necessary, ensuring cost-effective and favorable outcomes.

Provide preventive legal strategies to minimize legal risks.
Employment & Labor Law

Advise HR on employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and labor disputes.

Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and international employment standards where applicable.
Intellectual Property & Compliance

Protect the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and trade secrets.

Advise on compliance with environmental, safety, and industrial regulations specific to the plastics sector.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
-
LLB or equivalent law degree with eligibility to advise/operate in Saudi Arabia (in-house license or recognized Gulf qualification).

Minimum 3 years PQE in commercial/corporate law —preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or FMCG— with strong contract drafting and negotiation experience.

Solid knowledge of Saudi Companies Law, Labor Law, regulatory compliance and proven ability to manage external counsel and litigation/arbitration matters.

Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken) with excellent drafting skills in both languages.
Preferred

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB / LLM).

Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia (preferred).

Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or corporate sectors.

Strong understanding of Saudi Company Law, commercial contracts, and industrial compliance.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
