Title- Legal Advisor (Dubai, Tech)
Role Summary
Provide pragmatic legal support to a Dubai-based tech business across UAE mainland and free-zones, focusing on commercial contracts, compliance, data/privacy, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SaaS/Software licenses, DPAs, SLAs, procurement/reseller and NDA templates; build playbooks and enable CLM.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws and free-zone rules: Federal Labour Law (33/2021), VAT (5%), Corporate Tax (9%), ESR, UBO, sanctions/export-control, UAE PDPL and free-zones data protection (cross-border transfers, breach response).
- Company secretarial & governance: board/shareholder resolutions, PoAs, license renewals, registry filings, UBO/ESR notifications, policy library.
- Risk management & disputes: early case assessment, manage external counsel (DIAC/DIFC Courts/ADGM Courts), handle pre-action notices and settlements; represent the company before authorities (not courts).
- Support HR/ops on employment matters (policies, PIPs, terminations), MOHRE/DIFC processes, and immigration/visa compliance with PRO.
- Regulatory touchpoints for tech/telecom/cloud (e.g., TDRA) as relevant to products and hosting.
- Training for business teams; maintain contract and compliance records.
Qualifications
- LLB (LLM a plus); admitted to practice in a recognized jurisdiction.
- 5+ years PQE with strong commercial/technology focus.
- Proven knowledge of UAE mainland law and at least working familiarity with DIFC/ADGM frameworks.
- Excellent drafting/negotiation in English; Arabic or/and Russian an advantage.
- High integrity, business partnering mindset, ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with privacy/security (PDPL, DIFC/ADGM DP), cybersecurity clauses, incident playbooks.
- Exposure to KSA/GCC contracts and procurement processes.

Pay: Up to AED30,000.00 per month
