We are now looking for a dedicated and proactive lawyer to join our team and help us manage our legal responsibilities effectively.

About the Role

You will serve as the primary legal advisor for our entire group, providing strategic guidance to our Board of Directors, leadership team, and departmental heads. Your work will ensure our continued compliance with laws and regulations, effective risk management, and responsible growth. You will manage a broad range of legal matters across our educational and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, timely, and practical legal advice to support leadership decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations, especially in education, child safety, data privacy, employment, and corporate governance.
  • Identify and mitigate legal, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with vendors, partners, employees, and service providers.
  • Manage legal disputes, litigation, and investigations, coordinating with external advocates as needed.
  • Advise on corporate governance, ethical practices, and policy development.
  • Protect the group’s intellectual property, brand, and physical assets.
  • Offer legal support on student affairs, disciplinary matters, staff relations, and workplace safety.
  • Lead legal aspects of crisis and incident response.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on legal compliance and ethical conduct.

Who You Are

  • A qualified law graduate (LL.B/LL.M) enrolled with a State Bar Council in India.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to education law, corporate law, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, policies, and Indian regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts in plain language.
  • Proactive, practical, and able to work calmly under pressure.
  • A collaborative professional with high integrity and discretion.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
