Legal & Compliance Internship – Summer 2026

Location: Chicago, IL | May 27-August 6

Join HDI Global US, a leading industrial insurer and part of the Talanx Group, for a dynamic summer internship in Legal & Compliance. This program offers hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal operations within a multinational insurance enterprise.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures
• Support legal team with contract management and documentation
• Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Help prepare compliance reports and audit documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and training initiatives

Who Should Apply

• Students pursuing degrees in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related fields
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with compliance tools or legal databases is a plus
• Interested in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk management

Location & Housing

This internship is based out of our Downtown Chicago office.
Housing is not provided; interns are responsible for securing their own accommodation.

Compensation

First-year interns are paid $20 per hour. Returning interns may be eligible for increased compensation based on performance and continued development.
