Job Summary

The Legal Assistant will support our process servers, review service attempts, prepare affidavits, update clients, and oversee eviction timelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to move files quickly while ensuring legal compliance.

ResponsibilitiesProcess Serving

  • Review daily serve attempts submitted by drivers (photos, notes, timestamps).
  • Ensure attempts meet Nevada legal requirements and company standards.
  • Request corrections or additional information from process servers when needed.
  • Prepare and send attempt updates and Affidavits of Service.
  • Upload completed affidavits and documents into client portals.

Evictions

  • Review and manage eviction orders submitted through our portal.
  • Confirm notice types, deadlines, and compliance with Nevada eviction laws.
  • Send clients status updates, proof of service, and certificates of mailing.
  • Prepare eviction overviews summarizing service timeline and next steps.
  • Track and manage critical timelines (5-day, 7-day, 24-hour lockout, etc.).

Client & Internal Communication

  • Email clients with updates regarding service attempts and eviction progress.
  • Respond to client questions clearly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with process servers, operations, and constables as needed.

Document Preparation

  • Prepare affidavits, declarations, posting documents, and notices using templates.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and legally compliant.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a legal support company, law firm, property management, or eviction-related work preferred.
  • Strong written communication and grammar skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in document review.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of files with quick turnaround times.
  • Comfortable with online portals, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with process serving or eviction timelines.
  • Experience preparing affidavits or reviewing server notes.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $18–$20 per hour depending on experience.
  • Monday–Friday, full-time, in-office position.
  • Opportunities for advancement into Operations roles.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
