Our busy legal firm is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, and handle all office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings and travel, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. If you have experience in a law firm environment, work well under pressure, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry, we want to connect with you.


Compensation:

$52,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Support the paralegals and attorneys with the production of legal documents, correspondence, and ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Provide exceptional client service and communication to keep clients up-to-date on their matters.
  • Assist with other administrative and support tasks as required.


Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable reaching out to clients, picking up the telephone to call clients and potential clients, and being proactive with communication.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office products.
  • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs.
  • An associate’s degree or some college is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills.
