Job Summary:

Well-established law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant with strong dictation and transcription skills. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling confidential information, managing executive calendars, and accurately transcribing voice recordings, meeting notes, or verbal instructions into professional documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe recorded or live dictation into accurate, well-formatted documents

  • Draft emails, letters, and reports based on verbal or written instructions

  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for executives or managers

  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications

  • Support general office operations and assist with various administrative tasks

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or executive assistant role

  • Excellent dictation and transcription skills (typing speed of 60+ WPM preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and transcription software/tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
