We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team with at least 2 years prior litigation experience. <Duties>
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage legal case files and documents using document management systems like DM and Aderant to ensure accurate filing, organization, and easy retrieval of information.
- Conduct thorough document review and data entry to support litigation cases,
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating interviews, and handling phone etiquette with professionalism.
- Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, and maintaining detailed records for ongoing cases or legal projects.
- <Skills>
- Strong knowledge of litigation practices, procedures, and e-filing practices throughout multiple counties including Dauphin, Berks, Cumberland, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Philadelphia and Middle District. .
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience in legal administrative tasks including filing, data entry, document review, transcription, and contract preparation.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for client and witness interactions; professional phone etiquette for client communication.
- Project management capabilities to handle multiple cases or projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
