<Duties>
- Assist attorneys with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other case management systems to gather relevant information across practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and tribal regulations.
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, reports, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage legal case files and document management systems to ensure accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of case information.
- Conduct thorough document review and organize evidence for litigation or transactional matters while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling appointments, and assisting with client interviews or meetings.
- Perform administrative duties such as phone etiquette, calendar management, transcription, proofreading, and filing to keep the office running efficiently.
- Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, courts, and external agencies with professionalism and clarity.
<Requirements>
- Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience in a law office environment.
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools.
- Familiarity with a wide range of practice areas some including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, civil and criminal
- Experience with legal case management systems proficiency in document review and management is essential.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities are required.
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficiency in data entry, filing systems, and clerical tasks; familiarity with document management systems is preferred.
