Legal Assistant

The legal assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across rental operations and corporate functions. The role involves contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, rental disputes, and coordination with external legal advisors and government authorities, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and memoranda of understanding (MOUs).

Handle legal aspects of real estate development projects and day-to-day company operations.

Manage and coordinate cases before the Rental Dispute Center (RDC), including case filing, follow-ups, and procedural compliance.

Prepare and submit legal notices through the Dubai Courts electronic system.

Draft, file, and manage online Powers of Attorney (POA) via the Dubai Courts platform.

Liaise and coordinate with external legal advisors, consultants, and government authorities.

Assist in corporate governance matters, including maintenance of statutory records and internal compliance processes.

Maintain proper legal documentation, case records, and compliance trackers.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of UAE rental laws and corporate legal frameworks.

Familiarity with Dubai Courts and Rental Dispute Center procedures.

Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and risk-assessment abilities.

Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

Law graduate or qualified legal professional (UAE experience preferred).

Prior experience in rental disputes, property management, or corporate legal support.

Practical experience with Dubai Courts and RDC electronic systems.
