Legal Assistant (3 years litigation experience)

Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience working at a personal injury law firm or insurance defense firm as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary or Paralegal. Firm has an excellent reputation and maintains a high volume case load with focus on litigation
Firm is looking for an individual who is focused on task, honest, dependable, well organized, committed, and able to manage a high volume and time sensitive workflow effectively and efficiently working with one, possibly two lawyers. Good people skills are necessary. The position requires that the applicant possess the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish fluency favored.
  • Assist personal injury clients with bodily injury and property damage claims processing.
  • Possess familiarity with medical records and diagnostic codes and experience in the identification and collection of all records.
  • Calendar and manage time sensitive workflow effectively and efficiently.
  • Utilize electronic equipment, computer, printer, scanner/copier.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Wondershare, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox, and other software.
  • Ability to file court documents in various Arizona and other states' and federal electronic filing systems.
