Legal Assistant - Personal Injury and Property Damage Claims

Personal injury law firm in Henderson is looking for a legal assistant to assist with bodily injury claims.

Law office experience is preferred, but we will train the right person who can demonstrate a strong combination of critical thinking, writing proficiency, and insurance experience.

Bilingual Spanish is a plus

This job requires critical thinking. The applicant must be able to write proficiently. The job requires people skills and being able to communicate effectively over the phone and in correspondence. Duties will include:

• Opening insurance claims;
• Requesting medical records and following up on requests;
• Speaking with clients and answering their questions;
• Tracking case needs over months;
• Using multiple software solutions;
• Helping assess property damage;
• Helping clients obtain rental vehicles;
• Helping clients obtain car repair services;
• Helping gather information for a demand and assisting in the drafting of the demand;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
