Job Summary
Antonietti Law is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support a busy litigation and family law practice. In this role you will assist with case management, draft and organize legal documents, conduct research, manage communications with clients and court personnel, and help ensure matters proceed efficiently and on schedule. This position offers the opportunity to deepen practical legal experience in an active law practice while working closely with attorneys who value accuracy, clear communication, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, revision, and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and orders
- Conduct legal and factual research using standard tools and court resources to support case preparation
- Manage case files and maintain organized records, including tracking deadlines, court dates, and document status across multiple matters
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate scheduling, court appearances, and document submissions consistent with local rules and case requirements
- Review subpoenaed records and other documents for relevance and accuracy to support ongoing litigation needs
- Collect, organize, and summarize financial records, exhibits, and other documents related to domestic relations matters, post-judgment issues, and criminal or probate cases
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, calendaring, notarizing documents, answering phones, and monitoring case progress to support daily office operations
Experience
- Paralegal or legal assistant experience in a law office setting, particularly in litigation, family law, or related practice areas
- Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple active cases and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with state court filing procedures, electronic filing systems, and communication with court personnel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills used in both client-facing and internal contexts
- Comfort handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in sensitive situations
- Proficiency with standard office and legal support software, including case management and document organization systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
