Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Insurance Defense

Fast paced Insurance Defense Firm located in Maitland, FL is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant. The firm handles first party property/liability coverage issues and BI defense. Insurance defense and strong litigation experience preferred.

*Calendaring, scheduling of depositions and court reporters as needed, and follow up as it relates to discovery matters, depositions, notices, e-filings, and other pretrial compliance issues

*Transcription and familiarity with dictation equipment

*Experience with E-Filing software and procedures

*Familiarity and compliance with judicial orders

*Ability, experience and organizational skills necessary to juggle multiple cases in a fast pace environment

*Proficiency in all MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
