Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation

Levinson Axelrod, P.A., is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our law office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of N.J. Plaintiff personal injury law, have Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience and possess excellent organizational skills. Duties

• Manage and organize documents using document management systems to ensure easy retrieval and filing.
• Conduct document review and assist in legal drafting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Proofread legal documents for clarity, grammar, and formatting before submission.
• Transcribe legal correspondence and meeting notes as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law office is required.
• Familiarity with personal injury law is highly required.
• Proficiency in document management systems.
• Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills related to the legal field.
