Role Purpose:
The Legal Associate plays a key role in supporting the Legal Department by managing the contract lifecycle and overseeing corporate legal and governance matters across the Group’s entities. This position ensures contracts are executed efficiently, in compliance with regulations, and aligned with business objectives, while also handling corporate legal tasks such as compliance tracking, licensing, board resolutions, and regulatory updates. The role requires strong legal drafting skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and update governance policies for the holding company and subsidiaries in line with local laws and international best practices.

Ensure compliance with competition regulations (local and international) and monitor governance implementation across subsidiaries, reporting findings to the Legal Department Manager.

Track regulatory changes from government entities and assess their impact on subsidiaries.

Advise internal departments on legal and regulatory matters related to government procedures.

Maintain accurate legal records and ensure subsidiaries adhere to labor laws, Ministry of Commerce regulations, data protection laws, and other applicable requirements.

Monitor and manage corporate deadlines, including license renewals and regulatory filings.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (EPC, supply, consultancy, NDAs, MOUs, JVs, etc.) in both English and Arabic.

Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies.

Prepare mark-ups, issue lists, and negotiation fallback positions for internal stakeholders.

Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, approval workflows, and legal requirements.

Develop and maintain standardized contract templates for Group-wide use.

Draft legal correspondence, including notices, amendments, and contract clarifications.

Support the enhancement and usability of the Group’s digital contract management system.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution; a Master’s degree (LLM) is a plus.

3–5 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, or legal advisory roles.

Strong knowledge of KSA Company Law, contract law, and licensing procedures.

Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
