About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Associate to support our legal and operations team within the co-working ecosystem. The role involves handling license agreements, client onboarding documentation, vendor contracts, billing-related documents, and compliance support. You will work closely with the sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth, error-free documentation and contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and assist in finalizing co-working license agreements, renewal agreements, amendments, and NDAs.
- Support the preparation, verification, and reconciliation of billing-related legal documents such as service add-ons, meeting room usage, invoices, and contractual charges.
- Maintain accurate records of agreements, addendums, and compliance documents across centers.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and community teams to ensure timely collection of required client documents during onboarding and renewals.
- Act as a point of contact (POC) for clients and vendors regarding documentation clarifications, signature follow-ups, and agreement status.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing vendor service agreements (security, housekeeping, IT, AMC contracts, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines relevant to commercial real estate/co-working operations.
- Conduct basic legal research as required and support the senior legal team in audits, filings, and dispute management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- 0–2 years of experience in legal documentation, contract management, or compliance—preferably in real estate, co-working, or service-based industries.
- Understanding of commercial agreement structures, billing terms, and service-level clauses.
- Strong drafting, proofreading, and documentation skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with contract management tools is a bonus.
