The Legal One is a legal research and consultancy firm specialising in corporate law, taxation, regulatory advisory, and compliance matters. We provide practical legal solutions to clients across various sectors while promoting legal literacy through publications, newsletters, and articles.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Legal Associate to join our team and support the firm's growing legal practice. This role offers exposure to diverse areas of law, including corporate advisory, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and legal research. The ideal candidate will contribute to both client-facing legal work and the firm's content development initiatives, including research publications and legal articles.
Note:- "This position does not involve court appearances. Candidates who prefer field-based litigation should not apply."

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Research & Drafting: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements (partnership, shareholder, franchise, confidentiality, etc.), legal opinions, briefs, and notices; analyse and summarise relevant case laws, statutes, and regulatory updates across diverse practice areas.

2.Litigation Support: Assist in handling disputes, represent the firm before government authorities, tribunals, and quasi-judicial bodies, and support senior counsels in hearings.

3. Knowledge Development: Contribute to newsletters, posts, and publications.

4.Compliance, Documentation & Administration: Manage compliance-related documentation and filings, while also assisting with administrative tasks of the firm to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

1. Law degree (LLB/BA LLB/BBA LLB) from a recognised university

2. Cleared AIBE (All India Bar Examination)

3. 6 months to 1 year of relevant legal experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
