Salary Range: $175,000 – $225,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Bonus: Additional compensation available for business origination

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team and help support a varied and meaningful caseload.

Position Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters. You’ll litigate, counsel, and advocate on behalf of both management and individual employees, giving you a well-rounded and deeply engaging practice. Candidates with a strong litigation background and a sincere interest in labor and employment law—especially those who appreciate the nuance of representing both sides—are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, harassment, wrongful termination, and contract disputes
  • Counsel both employers and individual employees on workplace issues, including accommodations, discipline, termination, severance, and employment agreements
  • Conduct internal investigations and draft findings and recommendations
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and client communications
  • Appear at court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings (EEOC, DOL, NLRB, etc.)
  • Provide day-to-day compliance and risk management advice to employers
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and client strategy
  • Participate in business development and receive credit and compensation for originating clients

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Arizona
  • At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to labor and employment law
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence and client-centered communication
  • Ability to handle a varied workload and work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment
