Join us as our new Legal Business Partner

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and talented Legal Business Partner to join our team. As a Legal Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to work on complex international legal issues and be part of a team of skilled in-house lawyers operating globally to support our business. Role and Responsibilities

As our first Legal Business Partner in Novonesis India, you will play a pivotal role in advising and supporting primarily (i) our Planetary Health business in India, Middle East and Africa, and (ii) the Regional President and the MEIA leadership team with high priority cases and tasks. For the right candidate, the role can be expanded to cover e.g. other business areas and legal projects.

Your responsibilities will include developing, negotiating and interpreting a broad range of commercial and collaborative contracts, handling disputes, and providing general and strategic legal advice on various matters arising in a dynamic and complex international biotech company.

You will collaborate closely with your global legal colleagues, with business colleagues and with other stakeholders to drive business initiatives and support management, while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Law degree

· Minimum 5 years of experience from law firm or in-house legal department

· Preferably experience working with commercial law and contract drafting

· Knowledge of competition law and IP law is also an asset

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

· Strong business mindset and ability to prioritize according to value and impact

· Pro-active, out-going and ability to thrive in a dynamic and international work environment

Workplace: Novonesis, Bangalore. We offer a hybrid workplace with up to 2 days/week working from home.
