We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Consultant to provide expert legal guidance, support regulatory compliance, and assist clients with a wide range of legal matters.

Job Summary

The Legal Consultant will be responsible for researching legal issues, drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising clients and management on legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of legal principles and business practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions, reports, and recommendations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Support dispute resolution processes, including negotiations and settlements.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory authorities, and government agencies when required.
• Monitor changes in legislation and advise stakeholders on potential impacts.
• Assist with corporate governance and policy development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
• Provide legal support to internal departments and management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in legal consulting, corporate law, commercial law, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or equivalent advanced legal qualification.
• Experience working with corporate clients, law firms, or professional services organizations.
• Knowledge of Qatar legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
