Qualifications
:

Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university (LL.M. is a plus)

Minimum 5 to 8 years of professional legal experience, preferably including an in-house role

In-depth knowledge and practical experience in, commercial and contract law, corporate law, labour law (including workplace compliance an employment disputes) and personal data protection law

Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts in both Turkish and English
-
Proven experience in corporate governance processes and general company secretarial matters
-
Excellent command of written and spoken English; strong legal drafting skills in both Turkish and English are essential

Proficient in MS Office applications and legal research tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments
-
High level of professional integrity, analytical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills

A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the company’s daily legal affairs across all functions
-
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in Turkish and English
-
Provide legal risk assessments and mitigation strategies in connection with contracts, operations, and business projects

Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory frameworks, particularly in areas affecting the battery, manufacturing, and data protection landscape; communicate potential impacts and compliance actions to internal stakeholders

Design and implement practical and business-focused legal solutions that support commercial objectives while mitigating legal risk

Collaborate with internal business units (e.g. procurement, R&D, HR) to support the launch and execution of strategic projects

Support corporate secretary functions, including shareholder and board resolutions, general assembly documentation, and trade registry procedures

Assist in the development and implementation of the corporate compliance program, including training and policy drafting
-
Coordinate and manage relationships with external counsel and represent the company in interactions with public institutions and regulatory authorities
