Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, preferably complemented by an LLM degree from an international institution,,
• At least 8 years of experince in an international company or a reputable law firm,
• Experienced in the retail sector with exposure to global operations
• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing contracts,
• Experience in M&A, Corporate Governance processes (e.g., General Assembly, Board of Directors, and other corporate matters),
• Experienced in managing international supplier, franchise and procurement agreements and e-commerce processes,
• Strong knowledge of company law, commercial law, and contract law,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English for global business environments,
• Proficient in using MS Office applications,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in global stakeholder management
• Team-oriented,
• Strong time management skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

Job Description

• Managing all legal affairs and activities of the company,
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all types of contracts in Turkish and English,
• Conducting legal risk analyses for all contracts and projects the company is involved in,
• Monitoring all laws, regulations, and legislation related to the company’s field of activity; conducting impact and risk analyses of potential changes and informing relevant internal departments accordingly,
• Developing creative and practical legal solutions,
• Following legal practices and developments related to the retail sector,
• Responding to correspondence received from public authorities,
• Providing legal support to company departments and group companies,
• Working closely with relevant business units to ensure the implementation of new projects within the company,
• Reporting on assigned legal processes to the Legal Director,
• Coordinating matters handled with external law firms,
• Following up legal matters before public institutions and authorities.
