What will you do

As our In-House Lawyer in Saudi Arabia, you'll be the linchpin for ensuring our operations are legally sound and compliant within the Kingdom. Your core responsibilities will be focused on contract management, negotiation, and regulatory adherence.

• Contract Drafting and Review: You will be responsible for the comprehensive review, drafting, and management of commercial contracts with both private sector clients and public sector entities (including tenders/public bids).
• Negotiation and Stakeholder Management: Take the lead in negotiating contracts with clients and government administrations, representing Sngular in both in-person and virtual meetings to secure favorable and legally robust agreements.
• Legal Advisory and Compliance: Serve as the primary legal advisor on all local matters, ensuring the company's activities are in full compliance with relevant Saudi Arabian laws, with a special focus on commercial and public procurement regulations.
• Data Protection Oversight: Monitor and ensure adherence to the applicable data protection and privacy regulations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential legal risks across business operations and develop strategies and processes to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's interests.

What would you need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of the KSA legal landscape and have proven experience handling complex commercial and public sector transactions.

• Qualified Saudi Lawyer: Must be a Saudi national with a relevant law degree and the necessary qualifications to practice law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Expertise in KSA Commercial and Public Law: Proven, in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Saudi Commercial Law and the legislation governing public sector contracting and procurement (tenders) in KSA is essential.
• Contract Negotiation Proficiency: Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successfully concluding high-stakes contracts with both private companies and government bodies in KSA.
• KSA Data Protection Knowledge: Strong understanding of the current and evolving data protection and privacy legislation applicable within KSA.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills in both Arabic (native) and English (professional working proficiency) to effectively liaise with local authorities, clients, and our international team.
• Proactive and Detail-Oriented: A highly organized and proactive approach to managing a significant volume of work, with an unwavering attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documentation.
