Legal & Data Privacy Consultant,

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead privacy assessments aligned with DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27701, and sectoral regulations

• 
  Conduct privacy gap assessments, maturity benchmarking, and data flow mapping (RoPA)

• 
  Draft and review privacy documentation (Privacy Policies, Consent Notices, DPAs, Data Sharing Agreements, Vendor Clauses, SOPs)

• 
  Support cross-border data transfer compliance and breach response planning

• 
  Interpret RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, CERT-In guidelines from a privacy perspective

• 
  Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate privacy controls into security frameworks

• 
  Participate in regulatory readiness reviews and breach simulation exercises

• 
  Develop privacy playbooks and escalation matrices

• 
  Deliver instructor-led training for leadership, legal, HR, and employees

• 
  Maintain structured documentation and version control

Skills & Qualifications

• 
  Strong knowledge of DPDP Act, GDPR, and global privacy frameworks

• 
  2–8 years of experience in privacy consulting or regulatory compliance

• 
  Experience drafting legal and compliance documentation

• 
  Excellent communication and presentation skills

• 
  Comfortable engaging with CXO-level stakeholders

• 
  Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities
