Lead the Corporate Legal team, ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting financial and corporate transactions.

Responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and transactional matters across the organisation, ensuring compliance with financial laws, managing legal risks, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and Board
Ensure compliance with financial, banking, and regulatory requirements
Oversee corporate governance and internal legal policies
Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and financial agreements
Manage legal aspects of M&A, joint ventures, and investment transactions
Oversee regulatory filings, licensing, and authority engagements
Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks
Support finance and compliance teams on regulatory matters
Liaise with external legal counsel and stakeholders
Lead and develop the internal legal team
Control legal budgets and external advisory costs
Qualifications & Experience
LLB + LLM (mandatory)
15–20 years of experience
Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role
Experience in legal entity management, corporate finance, M&A, and regulatory compliance
Key Competencies
Strong knowledge of corporate and financial laws
Expertise in banking regulations and compliance
Strong negotiation and drafting skills
Leadership and stakeholder management
Strategic and risk-focused thinking
