Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of project documentation including concession, EPC, O&M, shareholder, and finance agreements.
  • Advise management on project finance structures, procurement frameworks, and compliance with applicable PPP regulations.
  • Oversee external counsel, manage stakeholder relationships, and support strategic decisions across multiple high-profile projects.
  • Develop and implement governance, contract management, and dispute-avoidance strategies to safeguard the organisation’s interests.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years PQE, ideally US or common law qualified, with training at a top-tier international law firm.
  • Strong track record in PPP, infrastructure finance, or major project development, either regionally or globally.
  • Proven experience negotiating with sponsors, lenders, and government counterparties.
  • Deep understanding of project finance principles and risk allocation in long-term concession structures.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal precision and strategic objectives.
  • Previous in-house or client-secondment experience advantageous but not essential.
