Legal Document Annotation Specialist

Sepal is seeking meticulous, detail-oriented individuals to join us for a project focused on annotating complex legal documents. The work will consist of reviewing complex legal documents and labeling specific fields within each document. A background or familiarity with legal language and terminology is recommended but not required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, technical writing, journalism, law, or related fields. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of specific degree. - Ideal candidates have 2+ years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant. - Experience with work that requires high attention to detail and accuracy. - Proven experience with AI annotation, labeling, or similar workflows. - Ability to review and annotate large, complex documents for extended periods of time. COMPENSATION / LOGISTICS - $35-45 per hour, based on experience - Contractor role (1099), 10-20 hours per week - Start date: November 1st-10th (exact date TBD)
