Position Title: Legal Officer / Legal Executive

Role Summary
The Legal Officer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all legal documents, including drafting agreements, APF allotment letters, contracts, notices, and ensuring all documentation complies with organizational policies and applicable laws. The role also supports internal teams by providing legal interpretations, risk assessments, and documentation accuracy.
Key Responsibilities1. Drafting & Documentation
- Draft, review, and finalize all types of agreements, including:
- Sale agreements
- Lease and license agreements
- Service contracts
- NDAs, MOUs
- Vendor and client contracts
- Prepare APF allotment letters, possession letters, and other related property/legal documents.
- Ensure all drafts meet legal standards, organizational formats, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain updated templates for commonly used legal documents.
2. Legal Review & Compliance
- Vet documents submitted by internal departments for legal accuracy and compliance.
- Identify legal risks in documents and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and update internal documents accordingly.
- Assist in ensuring that company processes align with statutory and regulatory obligations.
3. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with internal teams (Sales, HR, Procurement, Finance, Admin, etc.) for documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as clients, partners, legal representatives, and government bodies.
- Respond to queries related to contract terms, documentation status, or legal procedures.
4. Record Management
- Manage and maintain secure digital and physical records of all executed agreements.
- Track approval workflows, renewals, expiries, and obligations under agreements.
- Ensure proper archiving of allotment letters, agreements, and legal correspondences.
5. Support in Legal Matters
- Assist the legal manager in preparing notices, replies, or internal briefs.
- Support in litigation matters by preparing required documents and coordinating with external counsel.
- Handle due diligence documentation when needed (property, vendor onboarding, compliance checks).
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting and legal terminology.
- Excellent command of written English and legal formatting.
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in documentation.
- Understanding of applicable laws (property law, contract law, corporate law, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple drafts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document-management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or equivalent.
- 1–5 years of experience in legal drafting, documentation, or contract management (depending on level).
- Experience in real estate, corporate legal departments, or similar fields is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
